YORK 912 PATRIOTS OBAMACARE DECISION STATEMENT

“Obviously we are disappointed by today's Supreme Court ruling.  It is a brazen overreach of government.  Never before has it been more clearly demonstrated that elections have consequences. President George W. Bush appointed Chief Justice Roberts to the Supreme Court who ended up being the deciding vote in this ruling. The PA Republican State Committee endorsed Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey in 2004. Specter was the 60th vote for Obamacare.  In 2008 President Obama pledged not to raise taxes on middle-class and poor Americans.  Today's ruling violates that promise.  This has invigorated those who have been fighting for liberty since the inception of the tea party movement. The York 912 Patriots will continue to educate the public and work to get representatives elected who will uphold the principles of the Constitution and defend the freedom of the American people."
